Lincoln Country
July 6, 2010

The monthly Lincoln Country meeting was held at Gander Mountain in Evansville, Indiana beginning at 6:00 p.m. (CST) on July 6, 2010. Present were President Eric Greenwell, Vice President Matt Neimeier, Secretary Brooke Oser. Minutes of the June 1, 2010 meeting of Lincoln Country were approved as read.

OFFICERS REPORTS
Treasurer Report – No Report
Safety Officer and Directors - No Report
Vice President – We are starting over with the logo, the last screen print did not look good. Passed out Posey County 4-H Fair Schedule
President – Report under to follow in Interlake News and New / Old Business
INTERLAKE
Eric talked about the potential mining and reclaiming to be happening in the near future. Mining will more than likely be west of the 68 entrance and the west side of lakes.

NEW / OLD BUSINESS
TOYS FOR TOTS
Carmen said that we could have Toys for Tots at Interlake with co-sponsors. One of the co-sponsors would be the DNR and one or more Jeep Clubs. Eric will be getting in contact with Carmen to work out details.

A committee was formed with Justin Sawyer, Matt Neimeier, Eric Greenwell, Brooke Oser. All volunteers would be appreciated! We need as many as we can get! Please let one of the board members know if you would like to be on the committee.

We talked about Blue Grass Jeep Club, Boonie Riders possibly being co-sponsors.

QUESTIONS FROM MEMBERS
Suggestion for the Website to be update and to utilize Facebook more. A member also had a question about tags / permits renewal for down at Interlake.

Next Meeting set for August 3, 2010.
